The Karnataka Science and Technology Academy (KSTA) and EAB worked together to host a one-day National Workshop on Soil and Land on the 8th of June 2023. The theme of this workshop being 'The Impact of Climate Change on Soil and Land'. More than 180 participants attended this workshop making it a grand success. The distinguished speakers at this event were - Dr. Shashidharan, NCBS Prof. Sebastian Chirambatte Peter (School of Advanced Material) JNCASR Dr. S Rama Subramoniam- Scientist RRSC-South ISRO Dr. M.N. Thimmegowda HOD Dept. of Agro-Meteorology, UAS Prof. Mahesh Sankaran NCBS Dr. K.N. Murthy, IFS (Retd.) Dr. William Maria Joseph, Soil and Land Use Survey of India Dr. Jayashree, M.S. Ramaiah PhD students from various Universities presented their research. Awards were given out for the quiz and essay conducted previously.

Our Kalyani Restoration Project in Burudugunte Village, Chinthamani Taluka, Chikkaballapur District has been completed and inaugurated on the 3rd of June 2024. The inauguration was headed by Shri Sridhar (Chief Sustainability Officer) and his team from Titan Company Ltd. who sponsored this project. The local community members were also a part of this event. |
