A Jala Dhara (Rainwater Harvesting) project was taken up in the Government High School in Geddare Village, Gauribidanur Taluka, Chikballapur District. This project was taken up with financial support from Dassault Systemes. This work was taken up in the first week of March, 2024. It is expected to be completed by the end of March, 2024.

A Vana Mahotsava (Afforestation) project was taken up in the Government Primary School in Shambookanagar Village, Gauribidanur Taluka, Chikballapur District. This project has been entirely funded by ACER India Ltd. The plantation has been done in a plot of around 2 acres in the school premises. Saplings of Jamun, Guava, Jackfruit, Chikoo, Gooseberry and similar native fruit-bearing species have been planted. The plantation work is complete. However, the project includes a maintenance component which will be ongoing for several more months . |
