Dr R G Nadadur launched a campaign in Sri Rajarajeswari Nagar in association with Sri Rajeshwari Vidyashala against use of single use plastic bags. 600 students of the school were given cotton cloth bags. They were administered a pledge to remove single use plastic bags from their home and also to persuade their parents and friends to refrain from using single use plastic bags. 

There was a day long campaign against use of single use plastics in the weekly market in Devanahalli town. Students and teachers of the Oxford English school along with office bearers of EAB participated in this campaign. plastic bags were taken away from many customers and vendors. In return they were given cloth bags free of  cost. The students impressed upon them that is to safeguard the future of next generation that this  campaign has been  taken up.
