Vana Mahotsav Program

A Vana Mahotsava Program was arranged in the Makali Durga Reserve Forest, near Doddaballapura, in partnership with the Karnataka Forest Department and the Oxford English School, Devanahalli. Mrs. Saswati Mishra, Chief Conservator of Forests inaugurated the event and had a good interaction with the school students. Over 100 persons participated in this event, when hardy and non-browsable 'honge' saplings were planted. Dr R G Nadadur, President and Sri B S Subrahmanya, Treasurer from EAB and Sri K M Subbaiah, Administrator, Sri G Ramachandra Gowda and Sri Ramakrishna, Treasurer from the school and Sri Nataraj from the Karnataka Forest Department participated in this event.
