Rations distributed to 500 families of Migrant Workers affected by Lockdown

 
On Saturday, April 18 and 25, 2020, Dr R G Nadadur, Mrs Seema Ramesh and Mr N E Kumaraswamy   distributed bags containing dry rations to around 500 families. The families were delighted to receive the rations within a week of their making the request. The rations bag contained Aata (wheat flour); Masoor Daal (Lentils); Rice; Sugar; Salt; Oil; and Masalas. A few of them immediately examined the contents of the bag and exclaimed with joy that the rations would keep them going for the next 15 days!!
 
EAB received financial support from a large number of donors. EAB also received logistic support from Captain Manivannan, Dr Manjunath, Sri Ananth, Sri Venkatesh, Sri Mohan and others of the Labour Department, local Trade Union representatives, local Corona Warriors and a local NGO.
