Rain water harvesting

Dr R G Nadadur received a request from Ms Gayatri Devi, Block Education Officer, Devanahalli. Thereafter, an EAB team with technical support from Sri K M Subbaiah and his team and a team from KSCST, IISC, planned and implemented a Rain Water Harvesting Project in the Government High School, Yaliyur. The main objective of this project was to ensure that there is adequate water supply to the toilets, especially the girls toilet, during the period when the water supply is erratic.
