In April-May 2020, Dr R G Nadadur, President; Sri N E Kumaraswamy, Secretary; and Smt. Seema Ramesh, Director volunteered as Corona Warriors in Bengaluru. Dr Nadadur was also appointed, by the Chief Minister of Karnataka, as Member of a Covid Task Force. Dr Nadadur and his colleagues of EAB observed that there were gaps in the distribution of Ration Kits by the Government Agencies. Dr Nadadur and the Board of Directors approved the first Humanitarian Project of EAB. Ration kits were distributed to needy families of migrant labour and daily wage earners in Bengaluru District, who were badly hit by the Pandemic.
In May-June, 2021, Dr R G Nadadur was approached by Smt Usha Shetty Managing Trustee, Gramaantara Trust She said that their organization was distributing Ration Kits to needy families and requested Dr Nadadur to support them. Dr Nadadur and the Board of Directors decided to take up the second Humanitarian Project of EAB. Ration Kits were distributed to needy families belonging to various less-fortunate sections of society, in Chickaballapura and Bengaluru Rural Districts. In June 2021, Dr Nadadur was approached by Smt Padmini Prasad, Managing Trustee, Akshobhyaa Foundation. She explained that their organization was distributing Ration Kits to poor and needy persons and requested Dr Nadadur to support them. Dr. Nadadur and the Board of Directors decided to take up the third Humanitarian Project of EAB. Ration Kits and also toiletries and personal hygiene items for women were distributed to needy families belonging to various less-fortunate sections of society, in Bengaluru City and Tumakuru Districts. Dr Nadadur and all office-bearers of EAB are deeply grateful to its donors and well-wishers for their kindness. EAB thanks its members for their consistent support. EAB also greatly appreciates Smt Padmini Prasad and the Akshobhyaa Foundation for being its partner in this noble activity.
