Vana Mahotsava in Bagepalli

​A Vana Mahotsava program was conducted in some villages in Bagepalli Taluka. Marginal and Small farmers were given coconut, guava, sapota, mango, jackfruit, tamarind  and other fruit saplings.
The farmers evinced keen interest in receiving the saplings and assured the donors that they would take care of the saplings. They also said that they would eagerly wait for the fruits in a few years as the income of their family would increase.
Dr R G Nadadur, Smt Usha Shetty, Smt Janet Yegneswaran, Sri Laksh Kumar and others participated in the planting programs. The three organizations plan to conduct many more planting programs.
