In view of the rise in Covid cases, Government imposed a weekend curfew in Chamarajanagara District. Hence, it was not possible to travel to the field. However, in order to not disappoint the eager beneficiaries, some representatives of the organizers travelled to the field and handed over the saplings. In the event, there were 54 beneficiaries. As many as 108 saplings were planted in the fields of beneficiaries, who had come forward to receive them. The saplings were all the Tiptur Tall variety of Coconut. This was requested by the beneficiaries during a preliminary field visit and survey. They agreed to take good care of the saplings and nurture them. EAB thanks its partners and their teams, and also its own members, office-bearers and sponsors for their support.
